Founder & Chef
Meet Shannon
Chef, storyteller, and explorer - Uncovering the world through food, culture, and connection.
Shannon didn’t create Flavors & Frontiers to fill time. She created it because food has always been her anchor. Flavor grounded her when life fell apart; travel reignited her when she needed to begin again. Together, they reminded her who she was and what truly mattered.
A Michelin-trained chef, restaurateur, and author, Shannon has cooked in world-renowned kitchens, built restaurants from the ground up, and written a bestselling cookbook. But her story isn’t about success. It’s about what came after. The rebuilding. The rediscovery. The meals shared at unfamiliar tables that turned strangers into family and taught her that food is never just food. It’s memory, connection, and truth.
Flavors & Frontiers isn’t about collecting stamps or destinations. It’s about arriving fully through flavor, through people, through the moments that linger long after you’ve gone. It’s Shannon’s invitation to travel deeper, taste more, and remember what it feels like to belong.

our why
Because some of the most honest moments happen far from home.
When you sit at a table in another country, tasting its stories and traditions, you realize how connected we truly are. Flavors & Frontiers invites you to travel deeper, eat boldly, and remember what it feels like to belong everywhere you go.
